heads up

If you still don't understand the current financial crisis, I recommend that you take a look at "Money as Debt", and listen to a radio documentary put together by Chicago Public Radio and NPR called "The Giant Pool of Money".

"Money as Debt" is a primer on money creation/monetary theory, and "The Giant Pool of Money" is an entertaining look at the specifics of the crisis, and includes interviews with people all the way down the chain.

It's a starting point anyway, and should provide you basis for asking more questions about the crisis.

Moganshan

Once again, back by popular demand, for your viewing
pleasure. Unless you live in China. Then we block it.

Little villages in the hills. There used to be a lot of expat villas here in the 20's, but they were all dismantled during the cultural revolution. We took the hikers to some of the old foundations.

New tea fields.

Promo shot for Bohdi. To be featured on next month's cover.

and that's when the crane fell over.

So we were eating lunch in an NUS canteen the other day when this 60 metre crane collapsed... just across the street, right before our eyes. Pretty crazy stuff.
