Last of the Snow?

Not likely... it's pretty warm in Montreal today, but it was -23 C last Thursday.

There have been two incredible snow storms since I've come here. These are pics of the last storm, which came a week ago last Friday. Remember those winters out west in the 80's, when school was closed and the plows pushed the snow into 3 meter tall piles? Those days live on in Quèbec. There were probably over a 100 plows out on the streets during the entire 24 hour storm, and when it ended, it took people on my road well over an hour to dig out their cars.

A terrible picture of a neighbor in the midst of digging out her car.

In front on China town.

And in Correy's yard.

I can't even fathom having to dig a car out of the snow. Clearly, i've lived in BC for way too long. Great photos!
